so my family and i just got back from our vacation.
we drove down to austin, i toured UT, we stayed 2 nights and then left.
then we drove allllll the way down to south padre island and stayed there for a while.
after that we drove back up to new braunfelds or however you say/spell it and planned on going to schliterbahn but that got rained out so we just came home.
it was pretty amazing. my brother didnt come - he was busy elsewhere but my parents, sister, and i had a really great time.
we saw a wedding take place at our hotel which was kind of cool. im not too sure why someone would want their wedding out in the open with a whole bunch of drunk tourists everywhere but i guess the whole island thing kinda made up for it.
UT was a pretty cool school, i'll probably apply but i doubt ill actually go. its gigantic. and while i'd most likely be able to get into the school itself, last year 75% of students admitted into the school of business (which is the school of my choice) was in the top 2.3% of their class. aka not me. and the other 25% was made up of transfer students, out of state kids, and international students. aka also not me.
so that doesnt look too promising but im still glad we went.
